We often expect God to reveal Himself obviously: to change our circumstances, give a clear answer, open the whole road ahead. But sometimes none of this happens. The problem remains, the night goes on, and instead of an explanation comes the strength to take the next step.
This sermon is about recognising God’s presence not only in great events but also in the traces it leaves in our lives. And about a harder question: what trace does our faith leave behind us?
Sometimes a person asks God to show His hand, and the answer comes unexpectedly: God invites them to become that hand for someone else.
